With my colleagues in the group ‪@MusicNonStop_io‬, I've released an album of generative piano music. It uses algorithmic composition techniques I've accumulated over the years, many of which are described in videos on this channel. This is the second generative piano album we've released. In it, we explored a range of different digital pianos and tried to match the characteristics of each composition with the tone and character of a particular piano. Algorithms that drive the works on this album were coded in JavaScript and sent via MIDI to the digital pianos. All tracks on the album are unedited real-time single takes from the same generative engine using different starting parameters. Enjoy.
