Join David Chang and Dominic Cheli for another insightful tonebase livestream exploring how thoughtful preparation can transform your chamber music rehearsals.

What if you could arrive at your first rehearsal ready to focus entirely on the music you can only create together?

When Dominic Cheli and David Chang first sat down to play the fourth movement of Rachmaninoff’s Suite No. 2 for Two Pianos, they had never rehearsed together before. Yet from their very first run-through, they were able to lock in as an ensemble and move straight into deeper musical work.

In this livestream, Dominic and David explore what it means to show up truly prepared for chamber music. How can mental practice, listening, playing alongside recordings, studying your partner’s part, and approaching chamber repertoire with the same seriousness as solo repertoire transform what happens when you finally meet?

Discover how thoughtful preparation can make rehearsals more efficient, flexible, and musically rewarding - leaving more room for listening, responding, experimenting, and building a shared interpretation.

Join us live on Tuesday, October 6th at 2pm Eastern Time.
