I got fitted for a 7 wood to see whether it could actually replace one of the hardest clubs in my bag to hit consistently.

5pm Today - Something a little different from me…👀

I’ve made a proper 40-minute vlog of our two nights golfing around St Andrews and our attempt to get onto the Old Course without a tee time.

It’s quite a change of pace from my usual reviews, but I’m really pleased with how this one has turned out.

Me and ‪@TheGolfFashionGuy‬ spent 2 nights in St Andrews with one fairly ambitious plan: try to get onto the Old Course.

The slight problem?

We didn’t actually have a tee time. 😅

So while we waited to see what would happen with the ballot, we played some seriously good golf at Dumbarnie, the New Course and Crail, and basically tried to cram as much of St Andrews as possible into 48 hours.

I’ve turned the whole trip into a proper 40-minute vlog — definitely a change of pace from my usual videos, but one I really enjoyed making.

I decided to buy an MGI E-boost trolley as it intrigues me!

Essentially it’s a push trolley with a smaller motor and battery that will last up to 14 holes. I believe it’s taken inspiration (in part) from the recent influx of e-bikes on the roads.

I’ve never tried anything like this before, and I’m not entirely sure there’s a market for it, so I’m looking forward to getting this out on the course tomorrow!

What do you think of the idea of a hybrid push/electric trolley?

Everyone's raving about the Shot Scope LM1.
But after testing it myself, I think a lot of golfers are going to buy one and end up disappointed — not because it's a bad product, but because the hype is setting the wrong expectations.
