Event-Driven Architecture (EDA)

Event-Driven Architecture is a software design pattern where system components communicate by emitting and responding to events asynchronously. Instead of direct calls, components produce events that other components listen for and process.

Common in microservices, real-time analytics, and IoT applications. Examples include Kafka-based event processing and serverless architectures using AWS Lambda.
