Info
We build miniature worlds. Fos Scale Models has been designing and manufacturing model railroad kits since 2002, but this channel is also about the creative process—building dioramas, structures and realistic scenery, painting figures, kitbashing, experimenting with new techniques, and figuring out what makes a miniature scene tell a story. You’ll see the techniques along the way, but we’ll also talk about the decisions behind them: composition, color, texture, weathering, storytelling, and how all those little details work together to make a scene feel real. Whether you’ve been modeling for decades or you’re just getting started, hopefully you’ll find some ideas here that make you want to get back to the workbench and build something.
