Info

I'm a tool fanatic and love sharing my passion for tools! I hope to help you make better buying decisions.

Hi, I'm Matt Outlaw. I’ve been working in the trades since 1995, with experience in general construction, carpentry, woodworking, and more. Now, as a full-time YouTuber, my mission is to help woodworkers like you make informed, confident decisions on tools and improve your woodworking skills. Whether it’s through honest tool reviews or practical woodworking tips, or helping you make money woodworking, I’m here to support your craft every step of the way.

Wondering where we got the name 731 Woodworks? It’s a nod to my wife and I's anniversary on July 31st. The anchor in our logo? That comes from Hebrews 6:19, symbolizing the hope we have!
