Highland Film Group has begun sales in Toronto, with principal photography scheduled to begin in the US in early 2027.

ABOUT THE FILM: Funny, warm, and inspired by a true story, ‘The Fun Lady’ is an irreverent comedy about sex, family, and the liberation that comes from finally being honest about who you are. After her picture-perfect life falls apart, former hometown golden girl Mora (Jessica Alba) retreats to her parents’ small Arkansas hometown, where job opportunities are missing, but gossip is thriving. Desperate for a fresh start, she has one wild idea: selling sex toys. The massive problem? She knows absolutely nothing about pleasure and has never had an orgasm herself. Against all odds, Mora becomes ‘The Fun Lady,' crashing living rooms, shocking church ladies, and turning awkward sales parties into the hottest invitation in town. Along the way, she ignites a sexual revolution among women who have spent their lives pretending everything is fine.
