CPPCON 2026 WRAP UP AND 2027 DATES ANNOUNCEMENT
Full Post Available at https://cppcon.org/cppcon-2026-wrap-up/

CppCon 2027 is confirmed for September 18-24, 2027, save the dates now!

🎥 KEYNOTES AND VIDEOS:
You can find early previews of all 5 of the 2026 keynotes over at the CppCon Video Archive Portal https://cppcon.programmingarchive.com/
Full Main Program and lightning talk videos will also start publishing on our YouTube channel one every business day starting in November.

🚀 EARLY ACCESS (FREE TO EVERYONE!):
This year we are opening our Early Access program to everyone!

Anyone can register an account to get access to the final YouTube videos, as they are uploaded to the channel (the moment they are finalized), without having to wait for the official YouTube release date. Videos are accessed through our intuitive early access portal, where you can filter videos by relevant subjects, categories, speakers and keywords.

https://cppcon.programmingarchive.com/

Anyone with an account will be emailed once the first videos have been uploaded and we will also post an announcement both here and the CppCon website.

All videos will have a minimum exclusivity period of 30 days within the Early Access system, before they are officially released to the channel. However, as we only release one video each business day, this will mean some videos won't be released for much longer than the 30 day minimum period - Early access provides you access to all sessions the moment they have been edited, uploaded and branded (often quite some time ahead of when they are actually released).

🔗 TRIP REPORTS:
Several attendees have already published their trip reports from this year's conference. You can find links to all of the individual reports in the full article on the CppCon website.
https://cppcon.org/cppcon-2026-wrap-up/

Herb Sutter was unable to present his talk this year, but we are incredibly grateful to Andrei Alexandrescu for stepping in to help the conference by sharing his thoughts.

Andrei’s talk, titled Your Next 20 Days of Systems Engineering, examined the rapid transition in software engineering where AI systems can generate substantial amounts of code with little effort while inspection and validation remain difficult. His talk explored how this shifts the emphasis from authoring programs to understanding system structure and long term evolution. The central theme argues that managing complexity at scale is our main challenge ahead.

We’d also like to thank HRT for being our Video sponsorship.
