Southbound 2 is officially out tomorrow at 5pm eastern time! 

Words cannot explain how excited we are to finally have this film out in the world. We spent a month filming and hundreds and hundreds of collective hours editing and finally seeing the finished product is pretty surreal.

The first episode was a lot to live up to and episode 2 is definitely a bit different. The second trip was a struggle. Logistically, physically and emotionally. But we're really proud of how the film came out, and can't wait to hear everyone's thoughts on it tomorrow 🙏🏽

But I've gotten quite a few comments recently about not releasing Southbound Episode 2 yet so I wanted to give an update here. We are soooo close to posting the second episode - but we've ran into some issues clearing all of the music we used. We are working as hard as possible to get those cleared - and appreciate all of your guys patience!

VERY IMPORTANT
If you are planning on buying an action camera this year - please watch this video that my friend Chris put together. It's the best most unbiased comparison video on the internet right now and he even has a Dropbox folder so you can download all the original files and see for yourself.  This year there's been a lot of talk about what the best action camera is - but the truth is that a lot of the people weighing in on it are being compensated. SOME people are doing a great job of actually comparing things objectively - but the vast majority of reviewers that I've seen have been being just straight up dishonest or at least a bit misleading in their reviews / comparisons.
A specific example of this that I've seen is people comparing the 4K on the Osmo action 5 to the 4K of the GoPro hero 13 to "keep things fair" But the GoPro shoots in 5.3K which is actually a massive difference.

As a creator I totally get it - you've gotta pay the bills and I think it's great that companies are paying creators.

Without that our job wouldn't exist.

However as a consumer an action camera is a big purchase - so it's important get an accurate unbiased perspective before you buy. SO - if you're buying an action camera this year - do yourself a favor and watch the video I'm linking below

Today was a huge day on this channel 🙏🏽We just passed 200,000 subscribers 🤯 For you guys who have been following me for awhile you know I’ve been at this whole YouTube game for almost 6 years. It took me 5 to hit 100K and just 8 months after that to double it. It’s not all about numbers - but that is a truly mind blowing amount of people. 

When I first started this channel I was doing daily vlogs as I backpacked around Southeast Asia. Back then I’d gladly stay in a hostel room without AC if it saved me $3 - so after I explored all day I’d stay up sweating my ass off editing. There were definitely times where I was like “wtf am I doing” - But at the end of the day I loved making videos and I knew that if I kept working hard and being consistent some day things would pick up.

Anyways, I just want to take a second to say THANK YOU. Thank you for supporting me and allowing me to accomplish so many of the things I’ve always dreamed of. 

Onwards and upwards 🚀

Hey All! I first off want to apologize being so late with the giveaway announcement from my 2023 recap video. I'm currently doing a motorcycle trip through Central America and ran into some issues going through Nicaragua. Hopefully it'll be sorted soon - but in the meantime I finally have a winner! Hit a pretty unreal milestone on here yesterday. 

I know it's not all about numbers, but hitting 100K on YouTube has pretty much been my biggest focus the past 4 years. There were tons of times where that goal seemed super out of reach - and multiple times through the years where I questioned if it was all worth it.

And none of it would have been possible without all the love and support I receive on here from you guys. And I can't thank all of you enough for allowing me to chase my dreams and do what I love as a career. 

This year I'm planning on working even harder and have a tooon of videos I can't wait to create.

Color grading is one of the most important parts of my filmmaking process. It’s the 1 thing that can really set your footage apart from everyone else.
