debated posting this but i’m hoping this finds the right people before they unknowingly purchase an AI-generated pattern…

ways to NOT fall for AI content when shopping for crochet patterns:

• browse for patterns on @ribblr_it (they have a strict no AI policy)
• beware of etsy listings (it’s full of AI slop and stolen content without proper policies in place to help artists reclaim their work) 
• if something looks suspicious, reverse search the image on pinterest and you’re likely to find the original crochet artist and their pattern/tutorial
• take a screenshot of the picture and zoom in to find any recurring typos, over-edited sections, weirdly cartoonish areas, or intensely blurred stitches
