🚨 Developer Alert – NPM Package Compromise

Agar aap Node.js / JavaScript developer ho aur regularly "npm install" run karte ho, to thoda careful rehna zaroori hai.

Recently ek npm supply-chain attack report hua hai jisme popular package axios ke kuch versions compromise ho gaye the.

🔎 Kya hua tha?
Attackers ne maintainer ka npm account access kar liya aur do malicious versions publish kar diye:

• axios 1.14.1
• axios 0.30.4

In versions ke andar ek hidden dependency add ki gayi thi jiska naam plain-crypto-js tha. Yeh normal library nahi thi, balki ek malicious package tha jo background me suspicious code run kar sakta tha.

⚠️ Risk kya tha?
Jab koi developer apne project me "npm install" run karta, to yeh malicious dependency bhi install ho sakti thi aur attacker ko system par access milne ka chance ban jata.

⏱️ Good news:
Yeh compromised packages sirf kuch ghanto ke liye registry par the, baad me remove kar diye gaye.

🛡️ Developers kya karein?

• Apne project ka axios version check karo
• Agar 1.14.1 ya 0.30.4 install hai to turant remove karo
• "node_modules" delete karke clean install karo
• Important API keys aur tokens rotate kar do

Open source powerful hai, lekin blindly dependencies install karna kabhi kabhi security risk bhi ban sakta hai.
