PM Pledger (Phil), a retired Pastor, is an amateur songwriter primarily focused on writing Bible-centered, grace through faith oriented, Christian songs. Most songs are suitable for Christian Worship. Some songs are written to be preludes or postludes (and a few just for fun). His intent is to write music that glorifies God and blesses His people. Worship is to be focused on God, not on the "me." It's true that King David, in his Psalms, writes about his personal conflicts, his personal distress, fears, and needs; yet he always acknowledges God as sovereign, and that God always knows what is best, even if it doesn't 'feel' good to us at any given moment.
