Dr Gavin Ashenden — helping to make sense of the faith, our culture, and the crisis of our age. If you’re looking for clarity in a confused world, I hope you’ll find some help here. This channel explores Christianity, culture, history, and the deeper patterns shaping our civilisation. Formerly an Anglican cleric, a university lecturer in the psychology of religion, for over 20 years, a BBC broadcaster, (& a chaplain to the Queen), I became Catholic. I now write and speak on the renewal of Christian thought and the recovery of meaning in the modern West advocating a return to the Faith that created all that we most cherish in our culture. 📖 Join thousands reading The New English Catholic on Substack 🎙 Regular interviews, commentary, and long-form reflections Please consider subscribing and join the mission of Christian & cultural renewal.
