SDI Labs was founded in 1987 by 2 molecular cytogeneticists from UCLA. New partners from software technology background with Infusion of capital in 2014, helped SDI labs to expand expertise into molecular diagnostics on infectious diseases, women’s health, autoimmune and mental health diagnostics. SDI Labs leadership’s technology background enabled it to leverage data science and automation to developing data driven pathogen detection testing for various infectious diseases.
