The European Social Survey European Research Infrastructure Consortium (ESS ERIC) is an academically driven cross-national survey that has been conducted across Europe since its establishment in 2001. Every two years, interviews are conducted with newly selected, cross-sectional samples. All ESS data - collected in 39 countries since 2002/03 - is feely available to view or download from our website. The growing dataset now has responses collected from over 500,000 interviews on a wide range of topics.
